“You have 30,000 women diagnosed with triple negative cancer every year in the US. Triple negative cancer is defined by what it isn’t and all we have to treat these cancers really is chemotherapy. There are no targeted treatments that women of color with this disease have today. With everything we know about the human genome – that cure is within our grasp – it’s not just leaving it to the scientists – it’s really bringing a community of women- multicultural women – to help us solve this very big problem. -Lisa Kennedy
